STATEMENT & PRESS RELEASE- ULAA Applauds New Liberian Leadership In Indiana 

The Union of Liberian Associations in the Americas (ULAA) congratulates Mr. Julius Parker, President elect of the Association of Liberians in Indiania (LAII). 

Parker and others were elected Saturday, November 5, 2022, following a fierce election campaign that spanned weeks across the State. 

ULAA applaud all Liberians and registered voters for demonstrating respect for the rule of law, as well as the conduct of a free, inclusive and fair elections. 

With over 400 registered voters casting their ballots, ULAA remains confident that the election results present a new dawn for Liberians towards achieving their community goals based on people-centered approach.

ULAA calls on the new leadership officials to use their win and unite the community aimed at bringing much needed development. ULAA look forward to a sustained leadership agenda driven on the pillars of corporation, peaceful co-existence, and inclusiveness of all community members. 

ULAA also calls on Liberians across the State to support the new administration for a peaceful and develop community.  ULAA remains supportive of a united diaspora Liberia community where respect for democratic values are upheld at all times.

The Association of Liberians in Indiana (LAII) was established in 2002 and has a population of over 5000 Liberians. The leadership has a tenure of three years.
