WASHINGTON, March 11, 2019 – The National Elections Commission of the Union of Liberian Associations in the Americas (ULAA or The Union) announces Timetable for the 2019 elections. The Timetable is the ULAA-NEC’s official schedules for the order of business. The below is the complete, and the ULAA-NEC is encouraging all prospective candidates to uphold the schedules.

Elections Timetable for the 2019 General Elections:
March 14, 2019
The Commission begins accepting applications for the positions of National President, National Vice president, National General Secretary, National Treasurer and Regional Vice Presidents. Completion of applications and all necessary corrections.
May 5, 2019 (11:59pm)
Deadline for receiving of Applications for all positions.
May 8, 2019
Publication of candidates.
May 15, 2019 (11:59pm)
Deadline for filing of protest against candidates.
May 2, 2019
Publication of qualified candidates and campaign officially begins.
